Country Poster

In term 2 we had to research on a country. I did Canada. I will now tell you some facts about Canada. In 1965 Canada got its own flag 1755-1764 Expulsion of the acadian 1815 18 June to 18 February war of 18/2 and Pontiac's war 1763. Their leader is Justin Trudeau language French/English. I really enjoyed it. 

Book Week

Today we had Book Week. I was supposed to be a myself from the yearbook but the school didn't allow it so my teacher gave me this poo emoji costume. When it was my turn to say what I was I said I was a poo from the toilet and everyone burst out laughing. After morning tea we went to go to do the literacy treasure hunt. I really enjoyed it. It was really fun. 

We also met Stu Duval he showed how to do some drawing out of numbers and letters. The next day Jake Russel came and told us the story about how he cut his hand with a hunting knife. He also showed us his books. I am really excited for next years Book Week.

Science Experiment

The other day Room 5 did a big experiment about filtering water. There was lots of stuff like bark, paper towels, cotton balls, sand and water with cooking oil and lots of pieces of paper. At the end after we tested all the props we mixed them together. Our teacher choose the three cleanest but we weren't one of them. It was a really cool experiment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Science In a Van

This week Connolly went to watch Science in a Van - well it was in a hall. They did lots of experiments and they were really funny. It was really cool. We also learnt about the periodic table which I didn't know anything about. They had lots of different props like liquid nitrogen. I really enjoyed it and learnt lots of new stuff.      

Anzac reef

In the second week of term two week two we all choose a picture and we have to colour it in. I choose the reef with lest we forget in the middle it with all about Anzac. There was still lots of other choices but half the class choose this reef. At the end I was really impressed about my reef.

Animal research

For reading we all made a poster. First we had to pick a animal to research. Then we had to research its habitat, babies, and diet. Mine was bush babies. We went on various sites to look at facts. Then we wrote down the facts on a poster and it was really fun.  

Reading play ft. the otters!

A few weeks ago my reading group had a play it was called The bus monitor. We  had least people so we had  to ask two more people to join. I was the bus monitor. At first we introduced our self's in the story there was a robot bus driver, and two kids. It was really fun! I can't wait for another play.
